National Plastics Industries Pty Ltd
We started manufacturing industrial brushes for our own car washing machines in 1993, after a few months we found that we were making brushes for a lot of other machines and our brushes were being fitted to car wash sites belonging to the major oil companies i.e. BP, shell, mobil, Caltex, and 7-Eleven in Australia New Zealand and South Africa, also amongst our customers were major transport companies, coach and bus operators, city councils, train washing machines and tunnel washing machines, it was not long before we realized that we would have to manufacture (extrude) our own filament (fiber) for this we went to Italy to learn the process and gain the technology for plastic extrusion, the brush business was eventually sold, we had surplus machines and equipment, the decision was made to start making plastic welding rod and we have been making welding rod since 2010 we have been involved in plastic extrusion for over 25 years,( 50 years’ combined)
